You've heard it once said, "God created human beings in His own image, and we returned the favour."
Have you ever given that much thought? Have you seen the reality of that statement in society and perhaps in your own life?
Tozer once said it this way. He said "We tend by a secret law of the soul to move toward our mental image of God." Essentially that we become what we believe about God.
Questions to ponder and pray into:
1. What do you believe about God? Are the things you believe about God from Scripture, or from your wish list, or from your culture, or your upbringing?
2. Think of the contradictions you experience—hardships that result in blessings, blessings that turn out to be curses, events where the outcome surprises you. Write them down. What do you think God wants you to see?
3. Reflect on your perception of God through the process. How has it shaped your belief about him today?
