This summer we have heard stories of how God has been in peoples stories.  Great stories to celebrate God's grace and love.  There is another side to our stories which we often overlook.  Eugene Peterson, in Converstations, puts it this way:  "When we submit our lives to what we read in Scripture, we find that we're being led not to see God in our stories but to see our stories in God's.  God is the larger context and plot in which our stories find themselves." page 14
